Fire Risk Assessment / FRA Administrator
Type: Temp – Perm / Full Time Mon - Fri
Salary: £19000-20000 per annum
I currently have an exciting opportunity for a Fire Risk Assessment Administrator to work for a main social housing contractor. This role will provide effective administrative support to the Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) department.
Provide effective administrative support to the Fire Risk Assessment team by maintaining information, including accurately uploading data to the Fire Risk Programme / Compliance Portal.
Monitor weekly updates from the Assessors ensuring FRA reports are received within timescale and to the standard require; undertaking the required quality checks.
Processing actions arising from FRA reports to the Compliance Portal ensuring tasks have been correctly assigned whilst building good working relationships across departments.
Responsible for storing FRA reports and maintaining the filing system; in addition, recovering archived documents when requested by others.
Provide support to Assessors by obtaining information relating to service maintenance contracts and assisting with urgent matters.
Alongside FRA Coordinator, act as key point of contact to internal teams, stake holders and other areas of the business in relation to fire safety matters and queries
Undertake a range of administration tasks, as required including room booking, minute taking, producing ad-hoc reports and ordering Fire Actions Notices.
- Excellent telephone manner
- Good knowledge on Microsoft packages
- Ideally social housing / FRA experience
