Role Purpose

To provide an efficient and effective administrative support service within a team environment in a timely and customer focussed manner.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Provide an administrative support to the Installations or Repairs and Maintenance teams
  • Allocate work to team members in the department on the computerised system
  • Monitor data in computer system to ensure up to date and relevant and record any no access or completed works
  • Allocate plant and materials requests
  • Handle any telephone enquiries demonstrating excellence in customer service and proactively resolve to improve service delivery.
  • Create and maintain processes and procedures in line with company philosophy
  • Provide information as part of the reporting process in a timely manner and clean down reports as required 
  • Process contractor applications in a timely manner
  • Manage stationary supplies as required
  • Provide support and cover for other colleagues as may be required from time to time.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and processes. 
  • Carry out any additional duties which may be required from time to time in support of the business.

Person Specification & Qualifications


  • Strong team player
  • ICT literate Excel, Word
  • Ability to prioritise workload whilst maintaining customer focus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to make effective decisions based on objective assessment of situations.
  • Sub-contractor management
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities in order to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and recommend improvements in work processes
