Job Type: Full Time, Permanent between the hours of 8am - 5pm

Location: Various Contracts as Required

Reporting to: Contract Manager

Department: Electrical / CCTV

Benefits: 21 days holiday plus statutory days, pension scheme, company loyalty scheme, life insurance, annual bonus and Employee Assistance Programme

 

Repair, install and maintain Access Control, Warden Call, Communal Aerial & CCTV equipment across all contracts, ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the 'Health and Safety at Work Act' and to Industry Standard.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Service and install a range of Access Control, Warden Call and CCTV systems (including IP/Networked), Intruder and fire systems

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance to above systems

To ensure that all aspects of Access Control/'CCTV works including test and inspections compliance checks are carried out in accordance with current British Standards

To report on a daily basis to supervisor/manager on the status of all works within the Department and advise in good time, problems of time-scale or resources.

Ensure all work is carried out in line with the 'Health and Safety at Work Act

Cover out of hours call out (1 week in every 4)

Essential

Education / Training / Qualification

Full UK Driving Licence

Competency (Minimum 2 years' experience)

 

Experience

Experience in the installation of new systems as well as fault finding and repair of Access control, Warden Call and CCTV systems

 

Skills/Aptitude/Knowledge

Asbestos Aware

A Willingness to work in confined spaces

A head for heights and willingness to work in all sorts of weather conditions

The ability to work in a team as well as on your own

 

Working for Us

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum dependant on experience

21 days holiday increasing by 1 extra day after 2 years' service and then 1 extra day every 2 years thereafter up to a maximum of 25 days, plus statutory days
