Following the success of last year's accreditation, we are pleased to announce that we have passed our first annual ISO9001:2015 surveillance audit. This six-hour audit focused on the implementation of our quality management system across process effectiveness, company documentation and continual improvement. In short, ensuring that we deliver on our policies and procedures. This independent assessment was conducted by UKAS-certified Certification Body, the British Assessment Bureau.
We are delighted to have passed this audit and maintained the international badge of quality that ISO accreditation represents.
What is ISO?
The ISO standard requires a quality management system focused on delivering a quality service and maintaining a continual state of improvement to exceed customer expectations.
ISO 9001 was first introduced in 1987 and requires organisations to demonstrate that they do what they say they do, and that they have a Quality Management System in place to ensure consistency and improvement; leading to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed to ensure progress is being maintained.
The benefits of certification to ISO:9001 include:
- Streamlining an organisation’s procedures;
- Bringing consistency to an organisation’s service delivery;
- Improving an organisation’s management practices;
- Enhanced status;
- Competitive advantage.
